The housekeeper quickly answers and turns to walk into the kitchen. Before Lu Chuiqing has time to refute, he is already carried by Xiao Zhan towards the bedroom upstairs. Lu Chuiqing struggles for a while but stops after a while since it is of no use so he gives up. In any case, it does not seem like Xiao Zhan will let him go home tonight.
Lu Chuiqing quickly turns around to face the balcony and wraps himself in a blanket the moment he is placed on the bed. Xiao Zhan sits down right next to him on the bed and leans down to give him a kiss on his ear, “His name is Si Weiyu, he was my lover when I was studying overseas.”

“Su Weiyu and I became more and more estranged from each other. I, too, know what he was thinking in his heart.” Xiao Zhan explains, “My thoughts were indeed no longer on him so I let him be and decided to break up after he cheated on me.”
“Why did you not continue with the company afterwards?”

Lu Chuiqing’s heart tightens. Problems with the capital? He knows Xiao Zhan specialises in management so he will definitely be extra prudent and careful with the financial affairs and capital given how important those are to a company. How is it possible that there were problems with the capital?
Lu Chuiqing puts that question aside for now and asks another question which he is the most concerned about, “Then why did Su Weiyu come to you tonight? I heard him say that he regrets it… Does he want to get back together with you?”
Xiao Zhan speaks indifferently, “He knows that’s impossible.”
Lu Chuiqing purses his lips, “Doesn’t the young master of the Xia family like him? Why is he not marrying him?”
“Su Weiyu’s father is one of the core executives of Shuo Zheng Accounting Firm. He established his own standalone company afterwards, although it was not large-scaled.” Xiao Zhan answers, “The Xia family and the Su family have some relations so the Su family relied on the Xia family in various aspects. Xiao Zhan chuckles and embraces Lu Chuiqing from the back as he responds unhurriedly, “It’s so rare to see you get angry like this.”
“... I don’t want to get angry like this.”
But, there probably aren’t many people in the world who can throw a tantrum at Xiao Zhan like this, right?
