Bored out of his mind, Jiang Ge was wiping the wine glasses behind the bar. Given the permission to leave work early by his manager, Jiang Ge then changed out of his work clothes and got ready to go home. There was a car parked at the bar entrance. Just as Jiang Ge walked out of the entrance, the car honked at him.
Xu Yunfei rolled down the car window and waved to Jiang Ge.
Jiang Ge rolled his eyes, “What are you doing here?”
Xu Yunfei replied, “To send you home.”
There was no reason for Jiang Ge to decline a free ride home. He sat in the front passenger seat and hmphed at Xu Yunfei, “Are you really here on a business trip? How are you so free?”
“I didn’t say I’m on a business trip, though?” Xu Yunfei said, “I’m actually here just to meet you.”
Jiang Ge was quiet.
“I’m going back tomorrow morning.”
Jiang Ge nodded, “Hn.”
Xu Yunfei stopped his car in front of Jiang Ge’s apartment’s building. While the latter did not even hesitate before he opened the door and moved to step out of the car. Xu Yunfei grabbed him immediately, “Are you not going to say anything?”
Jiang Ge frowned, “Like what?”
Xu Yunfei repeated, “I said that I’m going back tomorrow morning.”
Jiang Ge smiled, “You wanna fuck?”
Xu Yunfei was momentarily at a loss for words, “...Although your expression is a bit crude, I do, indeed, want to.”
Jiang Ge had thought, from the start, that he was not compatible with Xu Yunfei, but he was not the type to hesitate over what to do nor was he someone who would be reluctant to leave. If the person was incompatible, he would definitely avoid the person with no hesitation whatsoever, but this time, he unexpectedly let out a sigh of relief.
Jiang Ge nodded, “Come on up, then.”
Xu Yunfei grinned and followed Jiang Ge up to his apartment. The two had a pretty good rapport in this area and had a refreshing round of work out on the bed.
Perhaps, due to the fact that he had to leave the next day and felt a bit unwilling to part, Xu Yunfei was especially passionate. Jiang Ge had not even recovered when they finished and it felt as if it had been a long time since he had felt so good.
Xu Yunfei asked then, “Are you really not going to consider dating me?”
Jiang Ge panted a few times before he answered, “I don’t like long-distance relationships.”
Xu Yunfei raised his brows, “Does that mean that’s the only thing you don’t like about me?”
Jiang Ge paused, “...Also, I think we’re not suitable for each other.”
“I can work hard and fight for a chance to get a promotion to work at the headquarters.” Xu Yunfei said, “As long as you agree.”
Jiang Ge remained silent, seemingly at a loss for what to say. Xu Yunfei did not push for an answer either and only said that he wanted to take a shower, and walked into the bathroom.
Jiang Ge was lost in his own thoughts as he laid face down on the pillow, feeling a bit gloomy. He admitted that he did have feelings for Xu Yunfei, but that was only limited to the present. Jiang Ge could not guarantee how long it would be before he became bored of it, again.
Xu Yunfei’s clothes fell on the floor and his wallet slipped out from his coat’s pocket. Jiang Ge reached out and picked up the wallet, flipping through it randomly in passing. He thought it looked like any other wallet a man would have when suddenly, he paused. The next moment, he pulled out a dark blue card from the wallet’s card compartment.
There were a series of English letters on the card, probably the name of some entertainment club. There was nothing else other than the card holder’s name and a membership number. Jiang Ge had never heard of this club before but judging from the design of the card, he could guess that this club was probably not cheap.
On a whim, Jiang Ge put the card back in its rightful place, picked up his phone and began searching for that club. It was an entertainment club in the city Xu Yunfei worked in. Jiang Ge skimmed over the club’s official page and its brief introduction, but he could not discover anything else other than understanding one thing from reading those elegant letters: BDSM.
Jiang Ge was, momentarily, at a loss of words. He had already done it twice with Xu Yunfei, but he really did not see any hints of Xu Yunfei having such a kink.
When Xu Yunfei stepped out from his shower, Jiang Ge’s arms were wrapped in front of his chest as he sized Xu Yunfei up, his gaze suspicious. Xu Yunfei noticed his gaze and asked, “What’s wrong?”
Jiang Ge paused for a moment before he smiled, “Have you heard of this club?” He lifted up his phone and showed him.
Xu Yunfei’s expression barely changed as he answered without thinking much about it, “I don’t know. Why are you asking about this?”
Jiang Ge was pretty impressed by Xu Yunfei’s calmness. He nodded his head intentionally, “Oh, I see… Who is that VIP customer with the number ending with 2946?”
Xu Yunfei stared at Jiang Ge a long while before he let out a sigh as if he admitted defeat. Resigned, he asked, “You looked through my wallet?”
“I was initially planning to look through your wallet to see if you’re keeping a photo of another man secretly in your wallet while you’re telling me how much you like me here.” Jiang Ge continued, “Who would have thought that someone had kept quiet about his sex partners.”
Xu Yunfei shrugged, “I’m not that fanatical about it either. I enjoy normal ones as well… Of course, it’ll be better if there is*.”

Jiang Ge glared at him sceptically, as if to judge the truthfulness of his words.
Xu Yunfei shrugged, “Why? Do you find it unacceptable?”
“Not really, I have friends who are into it, too.” Jiang Ge said, “Unfortunately, I don’t have an interest in that, so I guess you won’t able to endure the so-called… “normal” love-making.”
Xu Yunfei smiled, “Do you feel like you have a new understanding of me?”
Jiang Ge felt uncertain, “...Huh?”
Xu Yunfei smiled, “Maybe I can even make you feel a sense of novelty every day.”
Jiang Ge was tempted, “...Don’t overestimate yourself.”
“Don’t tell Chen Yifei about this.” Xu Yunfei said, “He is my boss’s little treasure, after all. I should still maintain my upright and pure image in front of him.”
The corners of Jiang Ge’s lips lifted, “Yeah, right… Let me put this out there first; you can’t go to those places again if you’re serious about being together with me.”
“That’s a given.” Xu Yunfei deliberately acted as if he was a poor thing, “But that’s on the condition that you’re together with me, though? You can’t just occupy the nest without laying eggs, right?”
Jiang Ge gave in, “You can throw the card away now.”
Xu Yunfei paused and only found his voice after a long while, “Didn’t you say you can’t accept long-distance relationships?”
Jiang Ge curled his lips slightly, “You said you’d work hard to get promoted.”
Xu Yunfei laughed, sat down and planted a kiss on Jiang Ge’s lips. The latter sat up straight and said righteously, “Throw that card away, right now.”
“I can use my phone number even without the membership card.” Xu Yunfei laughed but immediately appeased Jiang Ge before his expression darkened, “I’ll phone the club immediately and cancel the membership. Does that work for you?”
Jiang Ge pouted, indicating for him to do it, which only made Xu Yunfei laugh out loud.
After ten minutes, Xu Yunfei finally hung up the phone. He deliberately sighed, “They were even urging me to stay…”
Jiang Ge glared at him.
“But I declined resolutely.”
Jiang Ge found out that Xu Yunfei was naturally talented in pissing him off -- he would rather do without this new discovery.
The next morning, there was no one beside Jiang Ge when he woke up. Recalling that Xu Yunfei said that he would be leaving today, Jiang Ge assumed that he must already be at the airport.
Jiang Ge was slightly angered. Although he understood that Xu Yunfei wanted to be considerate and not wake him up, but how could he just leave without saying goodbye?
Jiang Ge yawned as he walked towards the bathroom. He was stunned when he saw Xu Yunfei shaving by the sink as he walked into the bathroom.
Xu Yunfei looked at him, “You’re up?”
Jiang Ge asked, “Why are you still here?”
“I’m leaving tomorrow.” Xu Yunfei said, “Do you want me to leave so badly?”
“Didn’t you say you’re going to leave today?”
Xu Yunfei laughed, “That was a lie. I wanted to see your reaction.”
Jiang Ge was truly at a loss for words. He squeezed himself in front of the sink, forced Xu Yunfei aside and began brushing his teeth. Xu Yunfei put down his shaving blade and planted a kiss on Jiang Ge’s cheeks while his other hand moved to give Jiang Ge’s buttocks a good smack.
Jiang Ge nearly swallowed the foam in his mouth. He tried to struggle free of Xu Yunfei.
Xu Yunfei grinned to himself as he walked out while Jiang Ge rolled his eyes at him. He suddenly began reminiscing about his days together with Chen Yifei. Chen Yifei’s “boyfriend charms” were not at a level a normal person was able to match. Chen Yifei was capable of making him feel as if he was being pampered and provided for--
Although he was Chen Yifei’s friend, their personalities were too different. Jiang Ge felt that he would, most likely, be pissed off to death before they could break up.
That night, Xu Yunfei planned to treat Chen Yifei to a meal. After all, Chen Yifei had been quite a big role in playing the cupid between him and Jiang Ge.
Chen Yifei hung up his call with Xu Yunfei and said to Yan Yu, “Xu Yufei wants to treat us to dinner tonight.”
Yan Yu lifted his head from reading the documents, “Why so suddenly?”
“He’s going back to the branch company tomorrow.” Chen Yifei replied, “Also, he’s now together with Jiang Ge.”
Yan Yu grinned, “For real? We gotta congratulate them, then.” He paused before a hint of guilt appeared in his expression, “But I still have a meeting tonight. Why don’t you represent the both of us and go in my stead?”
Chen Yifei wasn’t happy about this, “...But you have not been eating together with me for the past two weekends.”
Apologetically, Yan Yu replied, “Sorry~, it has been so busy recently.”
Chen Yifei regretted his words the moment those words left Yan Yu’s mouth. He was the one who had asked Yan Yu to put more thought into his work and yet, he was being immature right now.
Chen Yifei began to understand how Yan Yu felt when he rejected him several times because of work. It truly was not a good feeling.
Chen Yifei relented, “Alright, then.”
Just then, someone knocked on the office door and stayed in the room to receive instructions from Yan Yu after passing him some documents. Since Chen Yifei had to look for someone from the market strategising department, he decided to leave quietly.
When Chen Yifei arrived at the elevator, the colleague that was being instructed by Yan Yu came running out and called out for him, “Manager Chen, Chairman Yan said that he has forgotten to tell you something and asked you to go back for a bit.”
Chen Yifei thanked him and walked back to Yan Yu’s office. He asked, “What’s the matter?”
Indeed, Yan Yu had something work-related to tell him. Chen Yifei nodded, took the documents and turned to leave. Yan Yu stopped him again before he said hesitantly, “Chen Yifei, there’s another important matter.”
Resigned, Chen Yifei asked, “Why don’t you say everything at one go?”
“You must promise not to get angry.”
Just as he was still confused with his words, Yan Yu stood. He reached out to hold onto Chen Yifei’s necktie before he leaned in and kissed him on his lips.
Yan Yu let out a long breath as if he had just completed a major task successfully. He released Chen Yifei’s necktie and said, “I know you don’t like doing such things in the office, but you looked a bit dejected.”
Chen Yifei was stunned for a long while. Unexpectedly, he did not feel any hint of dissatisfaction or anger. Instead, his heart began to feel at ease. He smiled bitterly, “...Was I that obvious?”
That was the first time Yan Yu heard Chen Yifei using a tone like this, as if he was admitting his defeat. Yan Yu threw himself at Chen Yifei to hug him as he said, excitedly, “There’s no way I would give you the cold shoulder! It’s just that I’ve been really busy recently… Besides, shouldn’t you praise me for being so focused on work?”
Chen Yifei embraced Yan Yu’s waist and could not help his laughter, “You’re very amazing.”
Yan Yu lifted his head and grinned all of a sudden, “Do you finally understand how I felt last time? How was it? Don’t you feel lonely, empty, and cold without me?”
Chen Yifei nodded, “Yes, yes. I feel lonely and empty.”
Yan Yu had a satisfied smile on his face, “Let’s go on a vacation next week.”
Chen Yifei shook his head, “There’s no need for you to show me such considerations. You can focus on work.”
“I’ve already planned my time properly so there’s no need for you to worry.” Yan Yu waved his hand, “I’m able to put aside three days for a break. Why did you think I was working so hard recently?”
Chen Yifei’s heart warmed, “Where are we going?”
“I found a small island that began receiving guests not long ago. We can have a quiet few days over there.” Yan Yu continued, “Besides, my darling is going to rust if I don’t use her soon.”
“...Your darling?”
“My dearest yacht, of course.” Yan Yu sat down on his office chair and stretched comfortably. He leaned back on his chair and continued his imagination, “Perhaps, we can even…”
Chen Yifei waited for a while, “We can even what?”
Yan Yu let out a cough and feigned his aloofness, “You should finish the work first. Don’t even think of going anywhere if our clients aren’t satisfied.”
